We Are Still The Church

When you hear the word “church”, what do you think of? A set of religious beliefs for people who are into spiritual things? A building where people gather to worship, pray and sing ?

One thing we’ve all seen during social isolation is how much people want to see each other, to connect, to be together. Our government revealed some changes for businesses and organizations. This includes churches, who are able to open their doors for people to gather, with certain limitations and precautions. So when you hear the word “church”, what do you think of? A set of religious beliefs for people who are into spiritual things? A building where people gather to worship, pray and sing ? What if it was much different than that? What if it was much more than that? At Gateway Church, we want you to know that we are committed to be much more than that. We are committed to helping you take steps in the right direction and experience true community, whatever that looks like. And doing all of that in a way that is safe and secure.

The Focus of Our Faith: Responding to COVID-19

One thing we’ve all seen during social isolation is how much people want to see each other, to connect, to be together.

  • Cash Flow

Money is like time – we always think we have plenty of it, but it ends up going so fast, and we say, “Where did it go?”

  • Rest Assured: 2019 Theme

A new year brings with it the possibility for a fresh start, whether it’s losing weight or getting out of debt or accomplishing something you’ve never done. We all have hopes, dreams and desires, but we also have uncertainty, skepticism and distrust.

  • Dangerous Prayers

Have you ever prayed? What did you say? Was it something general like “bless this food” or “give us world peace”? Or maybe it was a bit deeper, like “help me with this situation” or “help me know what to do.” Maybe lately you’ve been praying “keep us safe from this coronavirus.”

One thing we’ve all seen during social isolation is how much people want to see each other, to connect, to be together.
