Advent Promises
Promises. We’ve heard a lot of promises.
People saying they will do something, and then we wait and see if they actually will. Promises made are not the same as promises kept. Christmas is a time when we hear a lot of promises. Today more than ever we need to know that promises will not just be made, but that they will be kept. Here are a few promises for the Advent season: God loves you. Even when you’re not sure He does. God can be trusted. Even when your trust has been broken. God has a plan. Even when it seems like everything is out of control. God is with us. Even when it seems He is far away.
We hope the weekend experiences we share here help you in your spiritual growth! We encourage you to dig deeper, to seek answers to your questions, and pursue a greater understanding of spiritual truth. Our pastors use a variety of resources when preparing talks, both free (public domain) and purchased. We do our best to quote sources, including but not limited to, messages from other churches, outside communicators / authors and / or written commentaries, books and curriculum.
Feel free to share or use our talks as needed, with our blessing!
